week 3 day 1
today i read my baroque booklet to study for the big music test. i learned more about bach today.
week 4 day 1
today i made it through 16 bars of minuet by bach. though i still need to improve
week 4 day 2
today i filled a booklet full of questions about bach. it didn't felt so hard because we were given a text to read.
week 6 day 1
today i watched my friends practice for the music practical assesment. among the songs played today,my favorite was canon. in instrument class,i learned to play the other 16 bars of minuet by bach.
week6 day 2
today i learned about scales,which i thought was alittle boring because i've learned this before.
week 7 day 1
today was the day of the practical assesment. it wasn't easy though,since i was a little nervous. so in the end i need to improve.

my music class
hi,it's me.
you see,this is what happens so far in my music class.
in 25th January,i did my first assessment which is singing my country's (indonesia) national song. i think it went well,except for how my voice was too high. and then about 2 days later,i learned to write chords(properly) and i learned:in music,chords are very important because they're the key to write a good song. in the next week, i have to do a c,g,and d major scale for practice.
it turns out my fingering was very off. on 17 February, i was working on my next assessment: write a 32 bar music. simple but if you can't even understand the basics,then it's like finding hay in the needle sack(or the other way around,which ever was the right metaphor). then i completely did 26 bars (at least it's just 6 more bars).
in 22nd of February i finished it in my music book. but i needed to know what sounded like before i put it in finale,a software for notation. it turns out it sounded great! so i decided to use it for my final work. and i called it "my dream". and 2 days later i submitted it but it's still on hard copy. and at this very moment i'm typing one of my assessment,the blog itself! who knew. the other one was a soft copy of my composition.
and today,29 February 2012, i did a short reflection about it,and i'm not talking about this blog.
well that's it for this term.
